Burning Man - Nest

A human propelled carousel and an invitation. Mosaic crocodiles offer their backs to ride and their presence to guard. Being superb mothers, the crocs protect those who join them to play, rest and dream. A nest sits at their center, a jungle gym offers broader views, and an unfinished repeating statement - etched into the carousel’s floor – invites visitors to consider and complete “When I protect my dreams, I _____________________ .”

Perhaps Nest is also a kind of prayer wheel – at each human propelled turn, visions of well mothered dreams radiate out into the world.
